Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a chronic immune-mediated disease that occurs mainly with inflammatory arthropathy associated with psoriasis. More and more people are talking about psoriatic disease, including various skin and joint manifestations, its extra-organ manifestations – intestinal, eye and kidney involvement, against the background of which are added many comorbid conditions, which make it quite multifaceted and clinically unpredictable.
Psoriatic disease and accompanying comorbid conditions make it a socially significant disease that must be actively controlled. With joint involvement, there is structural damage commensurate with the activity of the disease, with involvement of both the peripheral joints and the axial skeleton with the final result being permanent disability.
