Medical abortion is an innovative and increasingly common method of pregnancy termination, which provides new opportunities for patients and medical specialists. In Bulgaria, this approach is popular, but there are differences in its implementation compared to international practice. This article seeks to summarize the most current scientific data and practical guidelines, while offering an overview of the current state of medical abortion in Bulgaria.
