Programme “Vital” has been created for more than 20 years as a programme for weight loss based on a combination of balanced, low-calorie diet, increased physical activity, thalasso- and climate therapy under health-care professional supervision in the Black Sea resort Albena. After a two-week period, patients with obesity demonstrated a significant reduction of body weight, waist circumference as well as a decrease in the body fat mass.
