For medical specialists, the obstacles are mainly related to the high contagious index of the infection and the frequency of complications – pneumonia, respiratory failure, thrombosis, etc.
Objective: This review aims to analyze the available data on the frequency of venous and arterial thrombosis, their prevention and treatment.
Conclusion: Currently, the data support the use of anticoagulants only in hospitalized patients for COVID-19.
