Strabismus is a disease in which the visual axis of one of the eyes deviates from the common fixation point. It is one of the most common eye diseases in children, but it can also affect adults. The most common types of strabismus in children are convergent strabismus, accommodative strabismus, divergent strabismus, oblique strabismus. The effectiveness of strabismus treatment often depends on the age of the patient. Early diagnosis and intervention usually offer better outcomes.
