During pregnancy, the mother‘s thought, attention and voice constantly write on the body-text and inscribe on the skin of the baby in the womb chains of meaning, weaving with three threads (symbolic, imaginary and real). The mother‘s voice seems to impregnate the five senses – it has smell, temperature, consistency, taste, shape, density and strength, which create all the states of the baby‘s body: joy, ecstasy, pain, anxiety, fear. It can be said, like Freud, when he spoke about hypnosis, that the mother‘s words are magical, because when they flow with the blood and milk, they convey to the baby (and later to the newborn) the idea of different psychophysical states.
How does the body of the baby, of the child speak? How does the unconscious choose an organ? How is the child‘s symptom distinguished from that of the parents?
The report is also based on the author‘s long-term experience with babies and young children, as well as as a psychoanalyst in maternity, intensive care, pediatric wards.
Key words: psychoanalysis, medicine, body, babies, maternity ward, neonatology, pediatrics.
