Proactive therapy in hemorrhoids

отGP News публикувано на 18.04.2023 Gastroenterology

Issue 4/2023

Stancheva, D., gastroenterologist
Medical center „Pan Sanus“ – Sofia

Proactive therapy is a term that defines treatment in the absence of symptoms of a disease. A serious positive of this therapeutic approach is the possibility to slow down the disease progression and also to increase the quality of life of the suffering patients. This raises the question of the possibilities of proactive therapy in hemorrhoids. To form a successful therapeutic combination that is appropriate to apply proactively, a review of the current scientific facts and algorithms for the treatment of hemorrhoids is required.
Of all the means used for the hemorrhoids treatment, the following groups are differentiated: for treatment in the acute phase of hemorrhoidal disease and for proactive therapy. Doloproct cream and Doloproct supp, Entan VGcaps in a high dose regimen fall into the acute phase treatment group. The proactive therapy group includes Entan VGcaps in a standard dosage regimen and GinGira Activ Spray – fig. 1. Proactive treatment of hemorrhoids with Entan VGcaps and GinGira Activ Spray provides new possibilities for the control of this disease.
