Congenital anomalies of the respiratory system are of interest to pediatricians, general practitioners, surgeons, and ENT specialists. Although they are often “off the radar,” they are part of the differential diagnosis in children with recurrent infections and progressive symptoms, sometimes leading to chronic respiratory failure. This review will summarize the main types of anomalies, their diagnostic clarification, clinical presentation, and treatment.
Key words: recurrent infections, surgical correction, obstruction, cough.
