Raynaud‘s phenomenon is manifested by alternating episodes of vasospasm of small arteries and arterioles of the fingers of the limbs, as well as peripheral parts of the body – earlobes, nose. The most common cause is exposure to low temperature or emotional stress, as well as in the course of various rheumatic diseases. Harmful factors, medication intake also have an influence. Of importance for practice are the secondary forms – Raynaud‘s syndrome, their timely diagnosis and follow-up of the underlying pathology.
