Psoriasis is an immunomediated inflammatory disease with a chronic course and alternating periods of remissions and exacerbations. Symptoms from a number of internal organs and systems are added to the characteristic skin manifestations. Psoriasis significantly affects the psychological condition of the patients and affects all aspects of their lives. The care for these patients requires a multidisciplinary approach, including specialists from different medical fields, as well as psychological support.
