Kaposi sarcoma is an angioproliferative, multifocal systemic disease from endothelial origin with predominantly skin involvement. There are four major clinical forms: classic, endemic, iatrogenic and HIV-associated form. According to the distribution, the treatment is skin-directed or systemic – with cytostatics, immunomodulators or targeted therapy.
We present the case of a 82 –y.o. woman with classic form, who was effectively treated with local cryotherapy.
