Scabies is a highly contagious infectious zoonosis, the frequency of which has been increasing in recent years both in the world and in our country. Today, scabies affects people of all ages, sexes, and any socioeconomic status. In many countries, the disease is neglected, undiagnosed in time and the fight against it is inadequate. This article aims to present some current epidemiological, clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic aspects of scabies. Also, examined the cases of scabies in which the infection occurred during hospitalization, as well as the measures to limit them.
