Scleritis is an inflammatory condition affecting the sclera and the adjacent episcleral tissues. The disease may also involve neighboring structures such as the cornea, episclera, and uvea, and has the potential to cause serious visual impairment. Posterior scleritis, although rare, may present with serous retinal detachment, choroidal folds, or a combination of both. Pain related to eye movement and decreased vision are commonly observed. We present a clinical case of a patient with a history of treated Hodgkin lymphoma, in whom posterior scleritis was diagnosed during examination at our clinic. This case highlights the importance of a comprehensive diagnostic approach and multidisciplinary evaluation of patients, due to the frequent association of the condition with systemic diseases.
