UMBAL „Dr. G. Stranski“ – Pleven

Cellulite is an uneven accumulation of subcutaneous fatty tissue, as a result of which the skin acquires an “orange peel” appearance. Cellulite is also known as gynoid lipodystrophy (GLD) with a high incidence in women after puberty. It is manifested by topographical disorders of the subcutaneous tissue such as nodules, edema and abnormal fibrosis. It is mainly located in the pelvic area, especially the buttock. Its pathogenesis is complex and unclear. According to current studies, the main pathogenetic factor is the impaired microcirculation. The influence of hormonal disorders, endothelial dysfunction and genetic predispositions for the development of lipodystrophy is also considered. A modern pathogenetic solution for cellulite is Celuless – a natural product in micropellet form.
