Congenital obstructive uropathy is a significant and problematic part of urological pathology. Severe forms require years of interventions and follow-up. They need long-term uroprophylaxis, as they are associated with recurrent uroinfections. Altered bladder function is found in some of them. Prenatally developed renal dysplasia leads to impaired renal function, requiring conservative treatment, and after exhaustion of its possibilities, renal replacement therapy.
