Mental illnesses become more frequent during economic and spiritual crises and especially depressive conditions, the percentage of which increases during the complex migration, financial and other processes that adversely affect the person. Life difficulties in the elderly, such as loneliness and chronic diseases, as well as problems related to their care, are also important. Neurotic and obsessive states are increasing, as well as crisis reactions in young people. The most important problem is existential and endogenous depressions with the suicides they cause. The role of personal physicians is important, as they are often the first to meet patients and manage to deal with them or refer them to a specialist. Therefore, they need to be trained and familiarized with some milder but common mental disorders. Measures are also needed at the state level – creation of more homes for the elderly, lonely people, improved care for the sick, increasing incomes that this stage are insufficient.
